Born in Florida and raised in North Carolina, Stephen Davies attended Southwestern College and set out on a career as an insurance salesman. Early in his career, Davies went through many struggles in finding a reliable system for finding the people that really needed his help in protecting their families. He began hearing about an avant-garde company that had great business potential and also valued real integrity in their agents: that company was NAA.
Davies had never worked for a company that understood the importance of a team-oriented agency. Instead of fighting, agencies in the companies strove for their best in friendly competition: "Even when we [were] competing with each other, we [were] still buddies and [helped] each other."
After three years at NAA, Stephen is living his life to the fullest with no regrets. "Before, I was working lots of hours, over 70 a week and my wife still had to work. Even with all those hours, we were just getting by. All that's changed. My wife stays home to raise our son and I work a lot less."
An important key to Stephen?s success is his unwavering dedication. He has faced bizarre roadblocks in making appointments: it?s no embellishment to say he has trudged through mud to get to a sale; he car once stalled in the muck and he piggybacked on a four-wheeler to get to his appointment. Neither rain nor wind nor mud stopped him from reaching families that needed to be protected.
Stephen and his family, including wife Hollie and Chandler, currently live in Arden. The small town is located in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina. Family has been an important part of Stephen?s life, so much that he even brought his father, Kevin, and brother, Glenn, into the business with him. These days, it is common to see all three of the Davies men on the company's leader boards.
Sharing the wealth that he has experienced is one of Stephen?s main goals. He plans to "grow this business large enough that Glenn and Dad get richer than they ever imagined and create 10 million dollar earners before I turn 30." Despite his current success, Stephen constantly strives to better himself personally and professionally.
Free from debt, the Davies family is living the American dream; they've travelled from mountains with the thickest snow to the most remote and exotic islands. In his spare time, Stephen enjoys playing ice hockey. He recently purchased a hockey stick so exclusive it?s unavailable to the public. Besides pounding pucks, Stephen also golfs, surfs, and sees as many music concerts as he can.
